New Patriotic Party (NPP) communications team member, Ellen Ama Daaku has emphasized that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s election is a communal labor, driven by parents’ desire for their children to benefit from the free Senior High School (SHS) policy.
According to Ama Daaku, parents are eager to join the NPP’s campaign and vote for Dr. Bawumia, thanks to the party’s commitment to education.
She noted that Dr. Bawumia has advised NPP leaders and followers to emulate his peaceful approach, avoiding harm to others.
During an interview on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio’s morning show, Daaku cautioned Ghanaian women against trusting the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) promises of women’s banking, citing past failures under President John Dramani Mahama’s administration.
She highlighted that former President John Agyekum Kufuor introduced the Microfinance and Small Loans Centre (MASLOC) but the NDC failed to deliver on its promises
