The government spokesperson on social service Alhaji Yusif Fofana has applauding members on both sides of Parliament for approving the 2023 budget.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show on movement TV and Wontumi Radio, Alhaji Yussif Fafona noted that Parliament has done a great job by passing the 2023 budget. He commended the government for doing a yeoman’s job especially in these difficult times.
He said that “we are not in normal times, and this is not about politics- The government is trying it’s possible best to bring the economy back to normal. That is why the dept exchange programme has been introduced to ensure that the economy bounces back”.
He also urged the Ghana private road transport union (GPRTU) to reduce transport fares, as fuel prices have been reduced significantly.
