Afro-pop star Patoranking has paid a moving tribute to his younger sister, Chioma, and her husband, George Onuabuchi, after their tragic passing in a gas explosion at their home.
The incident immediately claimed Chioma’s life, while George initially survived but later succumbed to his injuries on September 11, 2024.
The couple’s 3-year-old son, who was with his grandmother at the time, fortunately escaped the disaster unscathed.
In his first social media post since the heartbreaking loss, Patoranking confirmed the devastating news. He shared an emotional message on Instagram, writing, “Only heaven knows.”
The tribute, though brief, resonated deeply with fans and fellow artists, who flooded the comments section with condolences and messages of support.
The couple was laid to rest in an emotional funeral ceremony held in Uburu, Ohaozara, Ebonyi State.
