The Bono Regional Chairman for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has accused the Inspector General of Police, Akuffo-Dampare of giving priority to former President John Mahama during the recent police recruitment exercise.
In an interview on Wontumi TV which was monitored by Wontumionline and Movementtvonline.com, Abronye openly stated that the names presented to the IGP were printed on the letter of Mr. John Mahama.
He was pained, Mr. Akuffo-Dampare didn’t give members of the NPP the same treatment when it was rather stalwarts from the NPP that campaigned for him to be IGP.
“He (Dampare) gave Mahama 50 slots during the police recruitment exercise. Dampare and Ambrose Dery did that… The names presented to them were written on Mahama’s letterhead”, Chairman Abronye said.
