Polling Station Executives Must Not Be Blamed For NPP’s Election Defeat- Hon. Asafo Adjei

Member of Parliament for Bosome Freho constituency, Hon. Nana Asafo Adjei, has publicly denounced Ghanaians who blame polling station executives for the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) defeat in the previous elections.

Speaking on the Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio with Kwaku Dawuro, Nana Adjei emphasized that polling stations are vulnerable and often exploited.

He demonstrated that since the polling stations are the most vulnerable and have no one to fight for them, people tend to take advantage of them.

“In addition, the polling stations have dedicated individuals who have served for eight years without achieving anything from the party, which I believe should be a motivating factor”, he said.

Nana Adjei therefore advised polling station executives to turn their attention to their constituents after being elected to power.

He concluded by attributing the NPP’s election loss to the media’s negative portrayal of the party, stating, “We lost this election based on some of the things I think the media did against us.”
