A member of Dr. Afriyie Akoto’s campaign team, Fred Boadu has advised President to crack the whip on his appointees as the country is in critical times.
According to him, most Ghanaians have lost confidence and hope in the President’s appointees and will be prudent that the President cracks the whip, hence the reason for the agitation on social media.
Speaking to the host, Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show, on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, Mr. Boadu said that “some appointees of the government are tired and not willing to serve the populace anymore and their actions speaks volume of that- hence the need for the President to crack his whip. Critical times needs critical measures.”
However, he said the former Agric Minister, Dr. Afriyie Akoto was an exception, as he’s always ready to serve his people and always find ways to work assiduously to satisfy the needs of those he serves and his tenure as Agriculture minister, was a true reflection.
“Because his father was a farmer, he was always concerned about the livelihood of farmers during his tenure as the agriculture minister,” he added.
Adding that “politics is about interest, so if you fail to build a better relationship with the people, with the assumption that they are clueless about what’s happening then you will be shooting yourself in the foot.”
