Broadcast Journalist with Wontumi Multimedia, Dasebre Agyei Dwamena has responded to Former President Mahama who said its unacceptable for President Akufo-Addo to spend millions on the Cathedral project, over the saglemi housing project.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show on movement TV, the ace- broadcaster told the former President that he shouldn’t forget that he spent funds meant for the saglemi housing project for personal gains.
He asserted that Ghanaians haven’t had any benefit from the saglemi housing project, despite the huge sums of money which was designated for the project.
“The area for the project doesn’t even make sense…how do you expect people working in Accra to live at the outskirt of Accra, as far as Saglemi….In this case, should any tourist visit the country and needs a place to rent, then the only place we could direct them to is Saglemi…it’s so bad”, he said.
“You demanded for $200 million to construct a 5000-housing project…however, you only built a 1500-housing project which you didn’t even complete…I’m extremely happy that President Akufo-Addo made a good decision not to continue with the saglemi housing project and thus, Ghanaians will know that the former President squandered our money”, he added.
