Communications specialist at the Office of the President, Lady Vera Wiredu, has emphatically stated that President Akufo-Addo is the best President who is a respecter of institution in the 4th republic.
She notes that President Akufo-Addo is the President that allows the independency of state institutions to work and also resource them to ensure they work effectively.
Speaking with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, she said that “Ghana’s democracy has been strengthened kind courtesy President Akufo-Addo…He’s the President to resource our Judiciary and allow them work independently than any other President under the fourth republic and this is for a fact. He respects and follows due process…he’s the President ensure that the Judiciary enjoys its independency to operate…Ghanaians should know that the NDC doesn’t have anything good to offer than to spew lies against the government”.
She expressed disappointment over certain utterances made by former Supreme court Judge, Justice William Atuguba.
“If you haven’t served about 10 years and above as a judge, you cannot be at the high court…However, Atuguba after working as a judge in a tribunal court in Bolgatanga, he was promoted straight to the Supreme court during late Rawlings’ era…Yet, this is someone who is accusing the government of packing the court with NPP Judges”, she lambasted him.
