In a bid to improve road infrastructure and enhance connectivity in the Ashanti Region, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will on Monday, July 15, 2024, perform a sod-cutting ceremony to mark the commencement of the dualization of the Anwiankwanta-Ahenema-Kokoben Road.
The ceremony, scheduled to take place at Pakyi No. 2 in the Ashanti Region, at 2PM, will be graced by the President as the guest of honor. This project is part of the government’s efforts to improve road networks and facilitate economic growth in the region.
Prior to the sod-cutting ceremony, President Akufo-Addo will visit the Suame Interchange Project at 1 PM on the same day. The Suame Interchange is a critical project aimed at reducing traffic congestion and enhancing the overall driving experience in the region.
