Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, has responded to allegations made by self-proclaimed Musician/Journalist Blakk Rasta.
This comes after Blakk Rasta attempted to disparage Chairman Wontumi and twist his statements.
In an interview with movementtvonline, Chairman Wontumi, visibly upset, told Blakk Rasta to prioritize his personal hygiene, implying that he looks dirty. He emphasized that Blakk Rasta should focus on his own well-being rather than trying to denigrate him.
Chairman Wontumi stated, “I hold the UK in high esteem, as it is my second home and where my children were born. I have immense respect for the country.” He continued, “However, I must emphasize that the current high inflation in the US is a direct consequence of the Russia-Ukraine war. Prices have skyrocketed, with everyday items like eggs increasing from £3 to £6 per crate.”
He admonished Blakk Rasta, “Don’t twist my words or insult me. Show some respect. As a man of influence with a media empire, including five radio stations, five online portals, and five TV stations, I am your superior and your father in this industry. I’m here to impart wisdom. Instead of targeting me, why don’t you hold big companies accountable? Don’t discriminate against me because of my African heritage and Ghanaian roots. You’re a hypocrite. Take a bath! Wontumi is an institution that cannot be destroyed.”
