The Deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has made a shocking revelation about a conversation he had with the late Jerry Rawlings, founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

According to Bempah, Rawlings called him two months before his death and stated categorically that John Mahama can never become the President of Ghana.

Bempah, speaking on the “Movement In The Morning” show, said: “Rawlings asked me if I believed Mahama could win the 2020 elections, and I said he was campaigning for it. But Rawlings said Mahama had taken away the fortunes of the party and could never lead it to power.”

Bempah emphasized that Rawlings, who toil with his blood to sign the NDC’s constitution, told him point-blank that Mahama can never become President.

” Spiritually, everything is settled, regardless of what Mahama does, he can never become the President,” Bempah stressed.

Bempah insisted that he was being honest and would not lie about a conversation with a man who ruled the country for 19 years and is no longer alive.
