Black Stars deputy captain, Thomas Partey, has shared an image of himself spending time with his family after he was left out of Ghana’s squad for games against Angola and Niger.
The Arsenal midfielder posted an image of himself walking his newborn baby in a baby cot through the streets of London.
Thomas Partey and his partner, Janine Mackson, welcomed their first child in January 2024.
The midfielder will not be in action during the international break after he was dropped from Ghana’s squad.
Black Stars’ head coach, Otto Addo, kept a tight lip on the reasons for dropping the Arsenal midfielder, claiming he had a ‘confidential’ meeting with the player regarding the decision.
“Partey wanted to come, but I made it quite clear to him that he cannot come,” Otto Addo told the media during the squad unveiling.
Thomas Partey has now missed the Black Stars squad for the second time in a row after pulling out of the previous team on account of being unwell.
