Black Stars forward, Felix Afena-Gyan, has said his farewell to AS Roma ahead of an imminent move to Serie A newcomers U.S Cremonese.
The 19-year-old has agreed a permanent move to the Cremona-based club for a €6m fee, plus €3m add-ons.
Ahead of the official announcement of the move from both clubs, the Ghana youngster took to social media to bid the Giallorossi goodbye.
Afena-Gyan singled out Roma boss Jose Mourinho for praise for transforming his life in the seven months he has worked under the Portuguese manager.
“I’m grateful to AS Roma, the technical team and staff for the precious opportunity and support I have enjoyed in the last one and half years,” he posted on Twitter.
“My utmost love to the manager Jose Mourinho. The last seven months with you has totally changed my life. Thank you for believing in me.
