Shut Up Because You Have No Defense About The Review And Renegotiation- Philip Twum Yeboah to NDC

New Juaben North constituency parliamentary hopeful, Paul Twum Yeboah, has sent a stern warning to the National Democratic Congress, to be silent regarding the review to Ghanaians by the world bank.

In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Paul Yeboah stated that Ghana’s economy under the leadership of John Mahama and NDC was nothing to write home about, hence their irrelevant comment on world bank’s request for an economic review and reform.

”The truth of the matter is that Côte d’Ivoire had the same issue and the rate we were given was times two of theirs, because they had the same companies we had here. The reason being that for me i don’t believe the NDCs and i know for a fact that some of the rates were increased deliberately by them because of the interests of some people.

When you go into such situation and things stabilize, the best thing like the IMF director Laporte is saying is to review and renegotiate, when you go in for a loan and the rate is low, you can even go for a renegotiation and it’s done everywhere, unless you don’t know economics or finance. So the truth is NDCs did not help us under the leadership of His Excellency Mahama so when we speak about it today, they should keep quiet because they have no defense, and what the man is saying is what we have to do. We have to review and renegotiate.”
