Rebecca Nyarkoa, a seamstress at kantamanto has expressed her grief on how a financial firm, State Insurance Company popularly addressed as SIC has tend to be dilatory in refunding her investment worth gh10,654.
Speaking on Wontumi Nka Wasem today, monday 15th August, 2022, Rebecca recounted how she made an investment with SIC and has been deprived of her money after the stipulated lapse time. According to her, she made a fixed deposit investment worth gh9,000 on 19th May, 2021 and was assured to gain a profit of gh1,654 after a year. The seamstress said she was given gh645 out of the gh10,654 after she suffered an illness and pleaded with the financial firm due to financial issues.
She asserted that all attempts to regain her money afterwards has been proven futile and claims to have been tossed by some of the employees in the quest for her money to be refunded.
