A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Ababio Kumi better known as Adenta Kumi, has stated that the sim card re-registration will not only improve upon the country’s security system, but also help with economic planning.
According to him, Ghanaians should disregard the propaganda by the NDC towards the exercise and ensure they get re- registered because it has a lot of advantages.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, he said ”the SIM registration is helping improve our security and that should be the focus of the exercise and not the stress. Apart from security it is providing, the sim re-registration also helps with economic planning because monies spent on housing population census could reduce if the Sim re-registration is done properly and I’m therefore appealing to Ghanaians to know that the exercise has a lot of benefit. We know the NDC has begun their propaganda but we must disregard them”.
“It’s like there are people working just to frustrate the Government, but you see, the exercise is for our own good because Nana Addo wouldn’t take any of the benefits home- although he will take credit for it, it’s not for him, It’s for the entire country”, he added.
