A communicator for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Francis Annor Boateng better known as Fransoa, has alleged that personnel of the Sowutuom police station must be blamed for the persistent fraudulent act of Agraada.
According to him, there have been numerous reports filed against her at the sowumtuom police station, yet nothing was done about it.
“Agraada could boldly state that when you report her to the sowutuom police station definitely it wouldn’t end anywhere- and truly nothing happens to her. You can send your reporters to sowutuom police station to find out, the number of cases which were reported against her of which nothing was done about it”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show.
Adding that the way society glorifies wealth must also be blamed. Because many youths will want to become rich in order to gain certain respect from society.
“The psyche of our people to get quick money and rich overnight is our problem. So, you will get people like Agraada, NAM1 and co to scam others, yet people will still follow them. According to a report I sighted, it’s just about 5 of the victims who are in Accra. Many of them came from outside the region, as far as the northern region and from Togo, because Agraada said she was going to distribute 300,000cedis. I understand about 5000 people made it to the church, so how much would have each person had”, he added.
“I had always doubted the ‘born-again’ of Agraada. Someone who could insult people even with their private parts. In any case, you will still get people who will fall prey to these scams of hers even if she’s released”.
Agraada was denied bail when she appears in court on Monday. Her case has been adjourned to Thursday, October 13.
