The former Deputy Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Abuakwa North Constituency, Gifty Twum Ampofo, has called on parliamentary candidates (PCs) who have unseated incumbent MPs to remain active and consistent in their constituencies.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio, she said “I’m pleading with all PCs who have overthrown the incumbent MPs—not to feel relaxed because they think they’ve already achieved victory.
Keep the fire burning,” she emphasized.
She further added, “Whenever you visit a constituency, it should be consistent and not a one-time effort. Continuous engagement is key.”
Twum Ampofo’s advice highlights the importance of sustained connection with constituents for long-term success.
