Communication team member for the New Patriotic Party, Obeng Danquah, has asked party members to desist from practicing favoritism, and rather work cordially for the sake of unity.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning show, on Movement TV/.Wontumi radio, Obeng Danquah was of the view that the NPP will have no future if it members develop the habit of practicing favoritism. According to him everyone should be supportive of eachother in order for togetherness and peace to reign.
He asserted that ” If you come to my constituency for example, when Akom Preko Agyapong came there, as an aspirant I went there but none of the contestants went. I was present when Dr Mahamudu Bawumia came and some were also not present, same as I will be present no matter who comes. I feel that favoritism is not good because if you are a mature politician you won’t do that, because I remember back in 2020 Ken came to assist Apigya constituency.
So I believe if you don’t show appreciation it will be difficult for someone to also come and help. If Ken comes I’ll go same as Kwabena Agyapong, Dr Afriyie Akoto, Agyako and Dr Bawumia because they are all party people that needs to be worked with because that is how you run a party, and show maturity for the sake of unity and desist from practicing favoritism, otherwise the party has no future.”
