A member of the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communication team, Kafui Amegah, has called on party leaders to prioritize the party’s interests over their personal agendas.
Amegah expressed his concerns about the behavior of some party leaders, who he claims were absent during difficult times, leaving others to bear the burden.
Despite his frustrations, Amegah remains committed to the party, largely due to his admiration for Dr. Bawumia. He emphasized that his loyalty to the party is unwavering, even in the face of challenges posed by some of its own leaders.
Amegah criticized some leaders for taking the party for granted, essentially holding it hostage for their own gain. He warned that this behavior must change in order to heal the party’s divisions and move forward.
“There’s the need for party executives to unite and support each other, rather than working against one another”, Amegah highlighted.
The NPP has faced criticism in the past for its handling of internal elections and the treatment of its members.
Amegah’s call for unity and cooperation within the party is echoed by other members, who have urged leaders to avoid mistakes of the past.
