Deputy National Organizer for the New Patriotic Party, Isaac Jay Hyde, says government should carry on with the audit in relation to the National Cathedral, as it clarity would convince more people to contribute to the National Cathedral.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Jay Hyde noted that the audit requested by two of the members of the board of National Cathedral, namely Pastor Duncan Williams and Reverend Eastwood Anaba, will bring about transparency and clarity hence, convince people to contribute to funds to build the National Cathedral.
According to Jay Hyde ”Left to me, there is no problem in having an audit done. As a matter of fact it is a step in the right direction because, people in opposition are taking advantage of some of these things to lie and put misinformation out there, so if we have the audit done and prove that no money was misused, we will come to understand that the members of the board who are astute men and lead thousands of people in their various denominations would not profiteer.”
