Managing Editor of the Daily Dispatch newspaper and pollster, Ben Ephson is of the view that the change of date for the December 7 to November must be considered.
According to him, he believes the wisdom behind the November election is due to the aftermath of the run-off elections. He noted that when the election is held earlier and the running government loses, preparing of notes, and handing over of tools and power to the incoming government and party could be done within December.
“If we can have the elections in the middle of November, that wouldn’t be bad. So that if there’s a run-off, there could be held earlier in order to know who emerges winner and if there ruling government is to hand over to a new government, that could be done earlier”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV.
