The NDC Cannot Rub Shoulders With The NPP In Terms Of Development- Patrick Awuku

A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Patrick Awuku, has indicated that there’s nothing that the NDC could rub shoulders with the NPP, in terms of development.
According to him, although the country is in difficult times, which is not peculiar to Ghana alone, the Nana-Addo led administration is working so hard to improve the livelihood of the citizenry.
“We were in the country when Mahama invited chiefs to the Komenda sugar factory when it hadn’t produce any sugar- he bought sugar from Makola to present as though its from the factory. The narrative is different now. There are pictorial evidence to the numerous things happening at the factory now.  Yet, the NDC keeps saying the NPP is borrowing much with nothing to account for”, he told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show.
He asked, “What is it that the NDC could compete the NPP with? In 2016, when the State of The Nation’s Address(SONA) was read in Parliament, he(former President Mahama) commended himself for constructing 3,787km of road- can you compare that to the 10,800 plus km of roads under Akufo-Addo?”
“We have offered ourselves as a sacrifice to the party and always ready to serve as communicators. So give us relevant documentation and information so we can go out there and communicate that’s all we need- because looking at what the Government has done, we should even buy airtime and show them on TV”, he stressed.
