The NDC Is An ‘Anti-Akan’ Party – Nana Kay

A communication Team Member for New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Kay has described the NDC as an ‘anti-Akan’ party that do not have trust in Akan.

Buttressing his point on Movement in the Morning Show on Movement Television and Wontumi Radio in Accra, Nana Kay stated that the NDC party hate Akans (Ashanti) and hence the reason Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo couldn’t retain his seat as the chairman for the party.

“The narrative is different with the NPP. We don’t do tribalism. We accept people of all caliber and tribe, as well as allow them to hold positions in the party. Moreover, the NDC is a party of violence and revolution”.

According to him, ex-President Mahama has said on several platforms that when it comes to violence, they are next to none. He therefore questioned why such crop of people will want to rule over a country.

Nana Kay noted that the violent character of the NDC started right from the PNDC era, where former President Rawlings was beating ladies to pulp on the streets, lay people on a table and were flogged and also dragging pastors on the floor among others.

“It was under this same NDC that the three judges were killed”, he said.

He concluded by saying the young ones trying to do or join politics shouldn’t think of joining the NDC party as he warned the youth to be very vigilant about the party.
