A communication team member for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Patrick Awuku, has stated that even in opposition, the NDC is still incompetent.
His comment comes on the back of the hullabaloo surrounding certain comments made by the agriculture minister, Bryan Acheampong over the weekend.
He expressed happiness that the health walk where the minister made the comment, happened during the Eastertide, where Jesus died and resurrection. This is a clear indication that the NPP party is back on its feet and ready for elections 2024.
He noted that the sentiments and reason for which the NDC wants to crucify Bryan Acheampong is as a result of the Ayawaso West-Wuogon bye election violence- that was the beginning of the developing of hatred for the lawmaker.
“Alot was said during the health walk by many personalities but why has the NDC decided to single out the comment made by Bryan Acheampong. It’s because of the hatred they have for the man”, he pointed out.
He stressed that the NPP is a law-abiding democratic party and therefore the was no way they would use consider violence as an alternative of government.
Adding that it’s for this reason, and the many other good initiatives of the NPP government that Ghanaians will again hand over power to an NPP government going into elections 2024.
“How do you believe someone who said he was never going to promise again, yet he’s going about promising to cancel ex-gratia if he’s elected to power”, he jabbed former President Mahama, describing him as a walking contradiction.
He furthered that the NDC knows there’s no way they could genuine win any elections in Ghana, if not for electoral violence- but the NPP believes in the electoral process of the country and that is why they’ve always said that the Electoral Commission should be allowed to do its job in a perfect way.
