A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Solomon Assante, has said that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) came for the poor.
According to him, this is the reason for which the NPP ensures that they consider the poor in society in every decision they make.
He told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio that ‘’Government introduced the free SHS policy and now says everyone can access loan for their university education without a guarantor, all you need is your Ghana Card. And the good thing is you are not going to start paying immediately you complete your education until you officially start working. This is the first of its kind. This means government is literally giving free University education’’.
He stressed that the NPP is the only government who came for the benefit of the youth and the poor.
He added, “all the policies that favours the poor were implemented by the NPP. Talk of the school feeding program, youth employment, free maternal care, and the almighty free SHS policy”.
He urged Ghanaians to hold the NPP government dearly before it slips from their hands because they would definitely regret it.
