A communications member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Patrick Awuku, has assured Ghanaians that the current economic condition will be revived following the Covid-19 pandemic and the Russian-Ukraine war.
In an interview on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro, Mr. Awuku stated Ghana was one of the fastest growing economies in the world until the advent of covid-19.
He said, ‘’the difference between the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and NPP is truthfulness. President Akufo-Addo has agreed to the fact that the economy is in shambles, and he is doing everything possible to revive the economy. Ghana was among the fastest growing economy in the world until the advent of covid-19. We can all attest to the fact that the economy is not favorable. The government’s motive behind the 1 district 1 factory agenda is to limit importation and inflation. These initiatives can only be implemented by a visionary leader. The Akufo-Addo led government has greater vision for Ghanaians. The tables will soon turn around’’.
He assured Ghanaians to keep their hope alive in the NPP.
