A communications team member of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Felix Osafo Marfo has noted that laziness is one of the reasons many Ghanaian youth are unemployed.
According to him, failure to use their energy for hard work is one of the factors thwarting the progress of the youth.
Buttressing his assertion, Osafo Marfo told Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show the government has not relented on its efforts to provide job opportunities for the teaming unemployed youth, only that many of them are not willing to use their body and energy to work.
“Despite our challenges and economic turbulence, Government is still recruiting. Currently, the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has opened application for the recruitment of security personnel to support the police service likewise the youth in health delivery program to support the health service. This speaks volume of the government’s commitment in ensuring that despite our challenges, we make progress as a country”, he said.
