The Minister of State for the Ministry of Works and Housing and MP for Tano North, Honorable Dr. Freda Prempeh, had said that Ghana’s debt stock was incurred by the erstwhile Mahama’s administration.
She explained that it was very necessary that the government gets to explain to Ghanaians to know that the skyrocketing debt stock of the country was caused by the previous government.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show she noted that government has been able to establish and built so many infrastructures across various regions.
“All the projects we have embarked on are capital intensive. Right from road infrastructure, health, Education, among others. These are testaments that there’s a big gap between the NDC and the NPP.
She stressed that if the NDC could have done what the NPP is doing. The infrastructural deficit gap would have been closed.
This is a clear indication that there NDC cannot be compared to the NPP.
“Every region has received its fair share of the national cake. The Government never discriminates. One thing that really beats my imagination is when the opposition doubts what we have been able to do as a government especially in the roads sector. There are even on-going projects we don’t even mention”, she said.
