A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Ababio Kumi popularly known Adenta Kumi, has appealed to government to consider increasing the salaries of police personnel as part of fighting against corruption.
He said this while speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro.
He said that ”I have always wanted to join the police force but I later found my interest in politics. I know police officers were recently given additional uniforms but I appeal to government to add more, and also do something about their salaries as well to ensure the mitigation of petty corruption on our roads”.
He called on government to consider the call for salary increment.
