There’s No way The NDC Can Develop The Country- Paul Opoku

The first vice Chairman for Dome-Kwabenya constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Paul Opoku, said the NDC party cannot develop the country.

In an interview with Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Movement Television and Wontumi Radio in Accra, Paul Opoku said there’s no way the country can progress and develop under the watch of the NDC- because they are only known for violent and corruption.

“Ex-President Mahama is a leader so if he says he knows nothing about the chaos that occurred in the Central Region, then he should issue a statement and apologize to Ghanaians as a leader of the NDC party- because this is the same party doing everything possible to ensure they come back to power”.

He further noted that “it’s prudent to choose leaders that can develop the country so that the youth would no longer have to travel outside the country to search for greener pastures- but the country will become so industrious to the extent that people will be travelling outside the country to seek for employment here. But this is a leader who has said on countless occasions that revolution is part and parcel of the NDC party. Hence, it’s not surprising that the the their last Saturday’s election was marred by violence”.

He stressed that the was the need for Ghanaians to pray for former President John Dramani Mahama, as he’s currently going through a lot of frustration, which wouldn’t affect the youth affiliated with his party.

Sixteen (16) persons have been declared wanted by the police, who were seriously involved in the chaotic incident that characterized the National delegates elections of the NDC.

Paul Opoku pleaded with the police that if they are arrested, they should be jailed to serve as a deterrent to others.

“Asiedu Nketia once said the NDC party is full of illiterate but once they get the chance to attend school, they defect to the NPP.  This should tell the youth of this country that the NPP is the only party that cares about the well-being of the country”.
