The former Deputy Director for external affairs for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Asafo Adjei, says the only purpose for which the National Democratic Congress intends to contest at Assin North, is to score political points.
Speaking in an interview with Oheneba, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Asafo Adjei lambasted the NDC for their selfish desires, at the expense of the development and betterment of the people of Assin North.
”Today John Mahama has the guts to come and say that if the people vote for George Quayson, and wait for 2024 when he wins, then he is trying to tell them to starve for 1 year, 6 months. What if he does not win because he doesn’t stand a chance, so the NDC have accepted that they are bringing George Quayson just to score political points in Parliament in order to execute their violence, sideling the development of Assin North,” he said.
