Thomas Kusi Boafo Slams Alan Kyerematen’s Exit, Touts Bawumia’s Economic Prowess

Alan Kyeremanten Is A “Political Gold Digger”- Kusi Boafo

CEO of Public Sector Reforms, Thomas Kusi Boafo, has expressed disappointment in Alan Kyerematen’s departure from the New Patriotic Party (NPP) to form his own party, Movement For Change.

Mr. Boafo claims that Kyerematen’s name will be absent from NPP’s historical records in the Fourth Republican Constitution, which he believes will be a shame.

Boafo questioned the sustainability of Kyerematen’s new party, suggesting that it may not be able to retain the youth and children who have left the NPP.

He emphasized that the NPP and National Democratic Congress (NDC) need to change after 16 years in opposition and power, respectively.

In a comparative analysis, Boafo asserted that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP’s flagbearer, surpasses John Dramani Mahama, NDC’s flagbearer, in economic intelligence, citing their academic backgrounds.

Regarding the NDC, Boafo stated that the party lacks a clear ideology and succession plan, which he believes will hinder its success unless Mahama loses the 2024 general election.
