National Coordinator for Zongo Development, Ben Abdallah Banda has advised the NPP Members of Parliament to tread cautiously, with regards to their demand for the sacking of Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta.
According to him, this is an internal brawl and therefore they must exercise patience in order not for it to affect the fortunes of the party in the 2024 elections.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement in the morning show on Wontumi Radio/Movement TV, the former Lawmaker said that ” We should all exercise patience- the President has met with the MPs and there’ve been some conversations. Moreover, In a democracy country, there’s the tendency for people to disagree and when it happens so, it doesn’t mean there are problems in the party”..
Adding that “So, what I’m saying is we should tread cautiously and treat it as a party issue. So that breaking the eight mantra will be realized. Because the NPP is a party that ensures the progress of the country and its citizens. We admit the country is facing economic challenges but its not peculiar to Ghana alone. I had an engagement with a friend in Germany today and infant, he said the complains we make here are the same challenges they are also facing”.
“We should be patience in our dealings so that the electoral fortunate of NPP which we want to protect, wouldn’t be lost”, he advised.
