A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Ishmeal Adams, has said John Dramani Mahama is an ungrateful person for neglecting his late ex-President Atta Mills’ tomb.
His comment comes at the back of the commissioning of the Asomdwe park to commemorate 10 years after President Mills passed on.
Adding his voice to the above on Movement In The Morning Show with Kwaku Dawuro, Mr. Adams said, ‘’when Atta Mills died, it rained all day. When President Akufo-Addo heard about the demise of the late president, he quit his campaign to come and mourn with the family. I don’t blame Mahama because he became President in a very easy manner. I had a chance to meet the Coastal Development Authority (CODA) boss and he personally told me President Akufo-Addo has instructed him to renovate Asomdwe park’’.
‘’Nana Akufo-Addo and late Atta Mills are not enemies- you can’t use NDC and NPP to breed enmity. Mahama is ungrateful. Why should Koku Anyidoho be the one to lead this? If he is really your mentor as you claim, you wouldn’t have allowed Koku Anyidohu to go through the stress of getting the park renovated. Koku showed genuine love to the late President without being a family member or from the blood line’’, he added.
on Sunday 24th July, 2022, government commissioned the Asomdwe Park in Accra where the mortal of late President Atta Mills remained. The event saw the presence of President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo- Addo, vice President Mahamudu Bawumia and other dignities.
