CEO of Ghana Library Authority, Mr. Hayford Siaw has urged Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
He noted that Ghana has witnessed firsthand the transformation of public libraries under the leadership of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning show on Movement TV, he stated that despite 41 years of neglect, the current government has made significant investments in building new facilities and increasing book collections.
However, Mr. Hayford is concerned that this progress may be reversed if the opposition NDC government, led by Mahama, takes power. He emphasized that Mahama has no plans for Ghana’s economy and urges Ghanaians to vote for Dr. Bawumia to continue the legacy of his boss.
“Let us not go back to the days of neglect and disinvestment in our public libraries,” Mr. Hayford appeals. “Vote for Dr. Bawumia to ensure that our libraries continue to thrive and provide opportunities for Ghanaians to learn, create, and grow.”
He stressed that by voting for Dr. Bawumia, Ghanaians can secure the future of their public libraries and ensure that the progress made under President Akufo-Addo is not reversed.
