Former communications director for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Adomako Baafi has said that God will set a table before Dr. Bawumia in the presence of his enemies.
According to the member of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, the impact of Dr. Bawumia’s campaign is scary a whole lot of people including other Presidential aspirants of NPP.
He noted that if for nothing at all, the digitalization drive by the Vice President alone is a whole campaign message. Because, it would have taken the NDC about sixty to seventy years to produce what Bawumia has done with digitalization.
He made these known while speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV/ Wontumi Radio.
“The buzzing and enthusiasm you see on social media with regards to how delegates are eager to have Dr. Bawumia as the next flagbearer is underestimated. Like the Akan proverb says we all have red saliva but for the sake of peace, we spit white saliva. I will urge those instigating the grassroot and inciting delegates against Bawumia to put a stop to that”, Dr. Baafi advised.
He asserted that every good policy Ghana has ever seen was initiated by an NPP government and thus, the NPP shouldn’t allow the NDC to have a message against the ruling government.
“Those who rose against Kufuor saying all manner of things against him are the same people speaking against Bawumia. Anybody who resort to populism don’t have any policy and that is what is happening in south Africa.
“I’m urging delegates not to allow anyone deceive them. We are focused, and we are winning. God will set a table before Dr. Bawumia’s enemies…say what you’ve been able to do but don’t speak against your contenders. I’m convinced beyond doubt that Bawumia is the best commodity to be patronized after Akufo-Addo.
