Social media was set ablaze as former President John Mahama was caught plagiarizing a speech during his Building the Ghana We Want forum held at the University of Professional Studies.
The former President during his address used a phrase by Aaron Sorkin and failed to credit him in a professional way.
At the end of the day, there was no place for him to hide as the phrase ‘we catch am oooooo’ run amok to show he has been busted for intellectual theft.
Mr. Mahama is on record to have said “My brothers and sisters, throughout our history, Ghana’s darkest days have always been followed by its finest hours” which plagiarized the famous statement of Aaron Sorkin “Throughout our history, America’s darkest days have always been followed by its finest hours.”
Social media reacts
Mahama has no ideas. Even in a speech to provide alternatives he plagiarised. He has exposed how empty he is. pic.twitter.com/LfKANXrWnE
