A member of the NPP communications team member, Adenta Kumi has noted that the party needs a solid candidate with a strong message as it’s flagbearer, going into 2024 elections.
According to him, going into a crucial election like the 2024 general elections, its paramount that the party chooses someone who could go on the battlefield and face off with the opposition to win the election.
He noted that it’s very important that the fore bearers of democracy, which is the NPP, does a thorough vetting of the Presidental candidate hopefuls and also ensure that people are disqualified based on equity and fairness else if apathy sets in, it will affect the fortunes of the party going into 2024 elections.
“I always tell people that we need to look for a candidate that is solid with a strong message. We shouldn’t make certain mistakes. This election is based on three things: your message, your organization and lastly observation. People are observing- Ghanaians are watching and its very important that we understand these things. Let’s do away with unwarranted disqualification. We ought to be careful on how we do our things”, he said.
He added that the party needs someone who could unify them. A candidate with a good character and an economic expertise who has track records of managing the country’s economy well.
