The Chief Executive Officer for the National Entrepreneurship And Innovation Programme (NEIP), Kofi Nkansah, has advised the New Patriotic Party Members not to take the Economic And Intelligence Unit (EIU) research report on the 2024 elections lightly.
Speaking on the content of the EIU report on Movement TV, he stated that the researchers started predicting Ghana’s election in the 90’s, and based on their record, the NPP government should not take their findings for granted.
“The report indicated that NDC can only win election 2024 when they bring a new face as the presidential aspirant, however that does not mean that if NDC should bring Mahama they cannot win the elections but rather our attitude, behaviors and structures as a party will contribute to the outcome of the election; whether we will win or loose”, he said
“‘We were in a comfortable lead in 2008 but lost the elections after several attempt. We must address every issue now so we do not repeat the same error in 2024”, he added
He commended the NPP party for embracing the research and ready to work with it.
