Deputy coordinator of free SHS at the Ministry of Education, Nana Afrah, says measures have been put in place for anyone that sells SHS placement to be arrested and face the law.
Speaking in an interview with Kwaku Dawuro, on Movement In The Morning, on Movement TV/Wontumi radio, Nana Afrah cautioned Ghanaians especially people who falsely act as intermediary for the ministry of education in order to dupe people in the name of selling school placement to bring it to a halt. According to her persons found guilty of such act will be arrested and be prosecuted as it unacceptable in the eyes of the law and Government.
In response to measures put in place, Nana Afrah noted that ” This time around we have made several internal arrangements, so if we get hold of you, you will not be spared. We will abide by the law and prosecute you. Last year for instance, we had someone come to the GNAT hall to do the same thing, and ended up facing the law which we were even following up with it in court, so we want to let persons practicing such act know that if we get hold of you this time around you will not be spared.
Again, If you call me after this call to ask for help regarding placement, due to the relationship i have with you i may help, but there may be a case where you’d charge others which can generate problems. So this time around we have so many mechanisms put in place.”
