The Member of Parliament (MP), for Wieja-Gbawe Constituency, Hon. Tina Naa Ayeley Mensah has revealed her constituency was one of the first to benefit from the STEM Initiative.
According to the MP who doubles as the deputy Minister of Health, educational projects has been fairly distributed in the various electoral areas.
Speaking to Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show, she said that, ”we have embarked on several educational projects in the constituency. One thing I always brag about is that my constituency was the first to benefit from the STEM project, and I am excited to say that it will be commissioned in January to promote STEM education in basic schools. We have built a six unit classroom block at St. Jude, 8 unit classroom at Tetegu and a 2 unit KG blocks in Oblogo, Weija and Mallam cluster of schools. We have also distributed books and desks to the various schools and established computer labs”
She added that 55 laptops have been distributed in the various schools.
