A communicator of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Marfo, has quizzed the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to state emphatically what they will do for the country when given the chance to govern.
He said this when he joined Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Friday 24th September 2022.
Making his submission he said that ‘’while in opposition, we the NPP came up with alternative solutions but the ruling opposition is all about propaganda. We said we will implement the Free SHS policy and restore the teacher and nursing trainee allowance-all of these and more we have implemented. What is the NDC going to do differently? When they wanted to assume power in 2012, Fiifi Quartey lied about former President Kufuor keeping Bank of Ghana’s money and Ghana’s gold reserve in his house. During the vetting of his appointment as deputy Finance Minister, when he was questioned about the allegations he made against President Kufuor, he stated he didn’t have evidence of what he said and that it was mere speculations”.
”Meanwhile the former Finance Minister Kwabena Dufuor’s letter of intent to the International Monitory Fund (IMF) applauded the works of President Kufuor and stated the loan they will receive from IMF will be used to continue the good works of President Kufuor”, he added.
In furtherance he stated that NDC as a political party do not have anything better to offer the country- adding the party introduced ‘dumsor’ and increased utility tariffs.
