A communications team member of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Alfred Ababio Kumi better known as Adenta Kumi, has said that there’s no President that has supported the fight against corruption than His Excellency Nana Addo.
Speaking on Movement In The Morning Show he said” Governance should be fair in this country- which President has supported the fight against corruption than Nana Addo? Someone should come and tell us because I want to know. I don’t know what John Mahama wants Nana Addo to do. In any case, let’s ask John Mahama what single effort he made to fight against corruption. He’s just a hypocrite”.
He told Kwaku Dawuro the host that “the President cannot prosecute anybody in this country. Even when he, John Dramani Mahama was President, he couldn’t have prosecuted anybody in his bosom- the onus lies in the bosom of the Judiciary- so what is he talking about, or he wants the President to be directing the Special Prosecutor on what to do?”
Stressing that “today, if an NDC member had been invited by the office of the Special Prosecutor, we wouldn’t have had peace at all in this country”.
