Spokesperson for Dr. Afriyie Akoto’s campaign, Dr. Prince Amuzu, has emphatically stated that with Dr. Akoto as flagbearer, the NPP will simply break-the-eight-year jinx.
He explained that this is because many Ghanaians are farmers and the impact of Dr. Afriyie Akoto has been felt in many communities across the country and it is for this reason that he’s been accepted by many Ghanaians.
“Dr. Afriyie Akoto is doing noiseless campaign, having one-on-one engagement with delegates and heeding to their advice. NPP as a party, we believe in equal opportunities and thus, many delegates are ready to listen, and he has also decided to make a noiseless campaign…. His intentions for the country may look simple and easy but very deep. He’s the messiah for us as a country using Agriculture…”, he said on Movement In The Morning Show on Movement TV.
He indicated that the vision of Dr. Afriyie Akoto is geared towards reducing youth unemployment and he will eradicate such canker using agriculture.
“Right from Production to Agro-processing to policies like One District One Factory(1D1F) will see to the employing of marketing officers, secretaries, accountants, HRs among others….It will also favour businessment who are into exporting too…His agenda is very big..”,he told Kwaku Dawuro..
Adding that this is someone with a well-structured vision, very knowledgeable within the agriculture sector.
“He’s done it before and will be able to do it again…NPP will simply break-the-eight-year jinx with Dr. Afriyie Akoto because many Ghanaians are farmers”, he stressed.
