Wontumi’s Arrest Aims To Divert Attention from Vice President’s Private Jet Expenses – Nyamesem

A communicator for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jones Nyamesem, has alleged that strategy behind the arrest of Bernard Antwi Boasiako, also known as Chairman Wontumi, is a calculated move to divert attention from the Vice President’s exorbitant private jet expenses.

According to Nyamesem, the NDC government is recklessly leading the country into debt, citing the Vice President’s alleged $20,000 per hour private jet expenses as a significant contributor to the country’s economic woes.

In an interview on Wontumi’s morning show, Nyamesem praised Wontumi as a hero and suggesting he could soon become a national chairman.

He also urged the government to fulfill its 24-hour economy promises to Ghanaians, arguing that the concept has nothing to do with the law and everything to do with delivering on campaign promises.

He expressed concern that the government’s priorities are misplaced, and the extravagant spending on private jets is a slap in the face of ordinary Ghanaians struggling to make ends meet.
