World Cup 2022: If Ghana Doesn’t Win, No Country Will- Deputy Sports Minister

The deputy Sports Minister, Hon. Evans Bobie Opuku, has boldly said that no country in Africa can win the 2022 FIFA World Cup if Ghana doesn’t win.

He said this when he joined Kwaku Dawuro on Movement In The Morning Show on Tuesday, 20th September, 2022.

Ghana was the first African country to book a ticket into the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar after beating Nigeria to a draw.

Speaking on Ghana’s position in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the deputy Minister said that ”the President, Sports Minister and GFA helped in Ghana qualifying for the 2022 world cup. The players were well motivated  for success. Preparations are currently ongoing for the three international friendly matches  for the final day. The technical resources that are needed for the three international matches is been worked on”.

”If there’s any African country to win the 2022 World Cup, is definitely Ghana. Looking at the measures we put in place- we can not afford to disgrace Ghana. If there’s  a country in African to win the cup- it is Ghana.  We will never disgrace Ghana-we will make Ghana proud. We don’t want to do anything to disgrace ourselves, family and motherland’’.

He added that Ghana is poised to win the World Cup.
