Former Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Yaw Adomako Baafi, has praised Dr. Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia’s intelligence and humility.
Speaking on Movement TV and Wontumi Radio’s morning show, Lawyer Baafi expressed confidence in Dr. Bawumia’s leadership and touted his unblemished track record.
“Dr. Bawumia posed 75 questions to President Mahama and the NDC while in opposition, which remain unanswered. In contrast, the NPP expected the NDC to ask 100 questions but received only five,” Baafi noted.
He also corrected President Mahama’s claim that inflation stands at 50.4%, stating it is actually 21.5% as of September 2024. He attributed this achievement to Dr. Bawumia and President Akufo Addo’s economic management.
Additionally, Lawyer Adomako highlighted the NPP’s development projects, including providing 345 ambulances and completing the E-block project left unfinished by the NDC.
He urged President Mahama to correct his understanding of economic indicators, warning against “playing with knowledge.”
