Dr. Solomon Forkuo has fingered former President John Mahama and accused him of sharing GHC40 to voters at Kumawu prior to the by-election.
He was therefore amused that the newly elected flagbearer for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) would turnaround and accuse the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) of buying votes at Kumawu with a cup of ‘tugyimi’ rice.
“Mahama claims NPP sharing tugyimi rice but he went there to share GHC40 to the people”, the respected Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) lecturer said on Wontumi TV.
He also challenged Mr. Mahama to talk about his development plans for Ghanaians instead of engaging in unnecessary banters.
Taking a jab at Mr. Mahama, he indicated that he is “always talking about pig rearing and poultry. This is not development”.
