The Director of political affairs at the Chief of Staff’s office (Presidency) Frank Asiedu Bekoe better known as Protozoa has questioned the legitimacy of the former President Mahama to criticize the Electoral Commission chairperson (Jean Mensa).
According to Protozoa, if John Mahama couldn’t even collate his results during the 2020 elections, what then gives him the audacity to criticize the Election Commissioners, describing her as biased.
Speaking on Movement in the morning show on Movement TV/Wontumi Radio, he explained that “former president John Dramani Mahama said Ghana’s Electoral Commission is biased as compared to the Nigerian’s electoral commission, which is not true. He doesn’t even know that the Nigerians have introduced a new technological process for voting called B-wake and that has far advanced their electoral process.”
Some of the Nigerian political parties did not even send their agents to the polling centres to represent them- others went there without any recording book because they have invested more in technology than investing in people.
He urged Ghanaians not to pay attention to the former President but rather focus on how to assist the government bring the economy back to normalcy.
